Not dated , Hubin says UK first is 1945 , but this copy has an author inscription on front paste down To Pete Rector , alias Pat and signed and dated 1943 by the author, Peter Rector being the main charactor in the story , no other inscriptions , no spine lean , no tears to pages , corners are lightly pushed , spine tips are lightly pushed , usual page toning with age ,bottom edge front board rubbed, in jacket that is not spine faded , not price-clipped showing 8/6 net on flap , back panel and flaps are toned with age , toned on verso , small chips of loss to spine tips and all corners, ...
