First edition hardback in original dust jacket , stating copyright 1932 on verso title page , Book has no inscriptions , no marks to blue boards , a line of fade along the top edge and leading edge to front and back boards , spine slightly faded and top tip faded , no spine lean , no tears and no creases to pages , corners are sharp but slightly worn , lower front edge slightly rubbed , spine tips are lightly pushed , small scuff to bottom back corner of spine , usual page toning with age , in jacket that is not faded ,not price-clipped showing 3/6d net First Time Published on spine and front , toned with age , couple of tiny closed nicks with creasing beside at top edge , has had professional restoration to top spine tip front corner , bottom spine tip and a few small areas to edges , looks great , a crime title in Hubin , not a remainder , not an ex-library copy.
